HOW CAN I MAKE A FEE PAYMENT TO MULUNGUSHI?

There are many ways which you (or one of your family members or friends, an employer or sponsor or other person in your country or from a different country) may pay your Fee to Mulungushi Central University College. 

Information on fee payment methods is given in your admission letter after Enrolment Form for each Program on this website (fill in the online application form and you will receive an acceptance letter with details regarding your program and application payments and summarised information is also given about other Fees.

HOW LONG WILL MY COURSE TAKE?

The Study or Membership Period, calculated from your Enrolment date, is:

  • 12 months if studying one Certificate Program only

  • 15 months if studying two Diploma Programs at the same time

  • 18 months if studying three Diploma Programs at the same time

  • 21 months if studying a Diploma

  • 24 months if studying a  Diploma Programme

  • 24 months if studying an Advanced Diploma Programme

  • 36 months if studying a Diploma Programme

  • 12 months if studying one Certificate Graduate Diploma

  • 36 / 48 months if studying the Diploma/Bachelors Degree Programme

Some Students complete their Study & Training more quickly - the Study Period is FLEXIBLE.  And if Students for personal or other reasons need more time, then arrangements are made to extend their Study Period for up to 3 more years.

WHEN AND WHERE DO I SIT MY EXAMINATION(S)?

Clear and straightforward instructions about sitting your Examination(s) are provided to you when you enrol.  Arrangements about who will supervise your Examination(s) and where you will sit your Examination(s) are made only after you have enrolled and after you have made progress in your studies. 

You can sit your Examination(s) in your local area - you do not need to travel far from where you live and you do not need to come to Mulungushi Central University College unless when the school requires you to.  In most countries Mulungushi Central University College does not have fixed Examination dates, so you can sit your Examination(s) on any day or date to suit your convenience and that of our appointed Invigilator/Supervisor. 

The Examination is included in the Study & Training Fee so you do NOT have to pay any additional Examination fees. 

HOW SOON WILL I RECEIVE MY EXAMINATION RESULT(S) AND MCH AWARD(S)?

Results are usually available within a few days of your Examination Paper(s) arriving at the University College Headquarters in Zambia.  You will also be able to check your Examination Result(s) on your personal pages of the special MCH Member Dashboard: www.mulungushiuniversitycollege.com/student Your personal account on the dashboard also provide details of when and how your results or awards have been sent to you. 

WILL YOU BE ABLE TO PROVIDE A REFERENCE OR RECOMMENDATION LETTER?

Yes, either during your Studentship (Study Period) or after you have completed your Study & Training with MCH, we will be able to provide a Reference or Recommendation letter; these can be used for many purposes, if needed, including for access to further studies with other institutions, for immigration purposes, for work purposes including promotions and advancements, and many other purposes.

DO YOU OFFER ANY OTHER PROGRAM NOT SHOWN ON THE MCH WEBSITE OR PROSPECTUS?

Details and syllabuses of the program which Mulungushi currently conducts, from Diploma Programs through to AMBMA, are listed in the current Prospectus and the University College website. 

Mulungushi can also by special arrangement offer additional specialisations for Diploma programmes - you will need to contact MCH about your particular request and requirements. 

Additionally, Mulungushi does cooperate with various Affiliates to offer other programs. 

Details of new courses which have been or are soon to be introduced are updated on the University college website which are available on this website.

 

DOES THE UNIVERSITY COLLEGE HOLD GRADUATION CEREMONIES?

For the online students completion of your course(s) you will automatically be forwarded your award(s) and certification(s), and at that point - you will have officially graduated.

However, the University College does conduct regular Graduation Ceremonies  both online and onsite at different locations in the country of Zambia, and many of those are featured in Mulungushi's regular quarterly Newsletters on our websites. For students in zambia it is compulsory and necessary to attend a Graduation Ceremony, but Members in a certain region will usually be informed of a Graduation Ceremony which takes place in their country or region through our affiliate and associates. 

Additionally, if you would like to be informed of when and where the next Graduation is going to take place, you should contact the College asking to be provided with details at the appropriate time.

Instructions for Online Students: Use of the Learning Management System (LMS)

Mulungushi Central University College utilizes a user-friendly Learning Management System (LMS) designed to support flexible, accessible and self-paced online learning for students locally and internationally.

Our online learning environment allows students to study conveniently from anywhere while accessing written lessons, recorded lectures, assignments, assessments and academic support through the student dashboard.

1. Account Setup

Upon logging into the LMS for the first time, students are required to:

  • Upload a profile picture

  • Complete and update their BIO information

  • Choose account visibility settings:

    • Public Account – allows interaction and networking with other students

    • Private Account – restricts profile visibility

2. Login Instructions

Students can access the LMS using:

  • their registered email address

  • their password

If you forget your password:

  • Click “Forgot Password”

  • Follow the password reset instructions sent to your email

3. Accessing Your Program

Students may access their learning program using either of the following methods:

Method 1: Profile Menu

  • Log in to your account

  • Click the top-right dropdown arrow (▼)

  • Select “Program”

  • Enter your assigned program

Method 2: Menu Navigation

  • Click the menu icon (three dotted lines)

  • Open the task pane

  • Select “Dashboard”

  • Choose your program

  • Click “Enter”

4. Flexible Self-Paced Learning Structure

Mulungushi Central University College offers flexible monthly enrolments throughout the year with a self-paced learning model.

Program Duration

Diploma & Bachelor’s Degree Programs

  • Semester Duration: 6 months

  • Includes multiple courses within the curriculum

Certificate Programs

  • Duration: 3 months

  • Offered as focused once-off programs with limited curriculum structure

Students may begin learning at different times throughout the year based on admissions approval.

5. Mode of Instruction

The institution does not operate mandatory live classroom sessions. Learning is delivered through:

  • written lesson materials

  • recorded video lectures

  • assignments and assessments

  • tests and examinations

  • lecturer-uploaded resources and guidance

Students learn independently through the LMS dashboard.

6. Understanding Self-Paced Learning

Self-paced learning means students are responsible for organizing and managing their own study schedule.

Students are expected to:

  • create personal study timetables

  • manage their learning progress

  • study lessons consistently

  • watch educational videos regularly

  • complete assignments within institutional timelines

Progress depends on:

  • discipline

  • consistency

  • time management

  • commitment

7. Student Responsibility

Students are expected to:

  • follow lessons topic-by-topic

  • understand their course curriculum and syllabus

  • conduct independent research where necessary

  • manage their own academic progress responsibly

Please Note:
The institution does not provide foundational teaching in:

  • English

  • Mathematics

  • Science

  • Basic research skills

Students are expected to possess the minimum academic qualifications required for admission.

8. Time Management

Students are encouraged to create a personal academic schedule to:

  • organize study sessions effectively

  • allocate time for each course

  • balance studies with employment or personal responsibilities

This is especially important for working and distance-learning students.

9. Platform Engagement

Students are required to remain active on the LMS by:

  • logging in regularly

  • reviewing updates and announcements

  • completing coursework consistently

Failure to engage with the platform may result in:

  • delayed academic progress

  • incomplete assignments

  • examination difficulties

10. Communication & Academic Support

Where necessary, lecturers may provide additional support through:

  • Zoom

  • Google Meet

  • Live dashboard sessions

The LMS dashboard also provides:

Applicants must possess:

    • Mathematics

    • and any other two subjects

Applicants must satisfy all admissions requirements for their chosen program.

Examination & Assessment Fees

Students enrolled under the flexible self-paced learning model are required to complete both assessment examinations and final semester examinations as part of their academic evaluation.

Assessment Examination Fee (Mini-Semester)

Assessment examinations are conducted every three (3) months during the semester progression.

Fees:

  • Local Students: ZMW 300 per assessment examination

  • International/Non-National Students: USD 30 per assessment examination

Final Semester Examination Fee

At the end of each semester, students are required to sit for the official final semester examinations.

Fees:

  • Local Students: ZMW 500 per semester examination

  • International/Non-National Students: USD 40 per semester examination

Please Note:

  • Examination fees must be paid before students are granted access to examination materials or assessment portals.

  • Students with outstanding balances may have restricted access to examinations and academic results.
